Obtaining a label
Vignobles & Découvertes, a national label for quality wine tourism services.
Created on the initiative of the Ministries of Agriculture and Tourism in 2009, its aim is to raise the profile of wine-growing regions. It makes it easier for customers to plan weekends and short breaks in the vineyards.
The label is awarded by Atout France, France’s tourism development agency.
Locally, tourism institutions and interprofessions are responsible for coordinating, promoting and marketing labelled services. In Champagne, these are :
- Agence de Développement Touristique de la Marne,
- the Comité Départemental du Tourisme de l’Aube,
- Maison Départementale du Tourisme de Haute-Marne,
- Agence de Développement et de Réservation Touristique de l’Aisne,
- Comité Régional du Tourisme de Champagne-Ardenne,
- Comité Champagne (CIVC),
- the Champagne-Ardenne Regional Chamber of Agriculture,
- Tourist Offices (Epernay, Grand Reims, Hautvillers, Lac du Der, Paysages de la Champagne, Sézanne)

- Implementation of an action plan to promote the Vignobles & Découvertes network in Champagne: editorial publications in specialized newspapers and magazines, press relations, web campaigns, publication of dedicated promotional materials…
- Implementation of an action plan to market the Vignobles & Découvertes network in Champagne: promotion of Vignobles & Découvertes-approved services at workshops, trade shows and other events for professionals and the general public, relations with incoming agencies, etc.
