This stele, situated on the D675 between Jonchery and Pévy, was inaugurated on 18 April 2010 as a tribute to the soldiers that died at the Hôpital d'Orientation et d'Évacuation.

At this spot, during the Chemin des Dames offensive from 16 to 20 April 1917, the Hôpital d'Orientation et d'Évacuation took in thousands of injured soldiers. A large number of them died.
