Habits de Lumière

Three days of celebration
On the eve of the holiday season, the City of Epernay, in partnership with the Avenue de Champagne Committee, presents Habits de Lumière, three days of festivities celebrating the Champagne lifestyle. This year, the event will be held on December 12, 13, and 14, 2025.

Friday and Saturday evenings:
Two festive evenings will take place on the Avenue de Champagne.

A video mapping projected in a loop on the façade of the Town Hall, live shows, champagne bars, musical entertainment, light installations, and fireworks will create a unique and festive atmosphere.
These evenings highlight Avenue de Champagne and the great Houses that have made its reputation.

Saturday:
In the morning, gastronomy takes center stage during Habits de Saveurs: Michelin-starred chefs team up with the Houses and Winegrowers of Avenue de Champagne and local producers to create an original recipe during a demonstration and tasting open to all.

In the afternoon, the Concours des P'tits Pâtissiers (Little Pastry Chefs Competition) is held for younger visitors. Food and wine pairing workshops and cellar tours round off the festivities.

Sunday:
A parade of vintage vehicles brings the city streets to life. Today, the parade features more than 400 vehicles, making it one of the largest gatherings of its kind in northeastern France.
