The Château de Bignicourt sur Saulx, with its neoclassical architecture, was built in the spirit of the Venetian villas by Andrea Palladio. This castle is surrounded by 13 hectares of parkland, partially restored, with a French-style vegetable garden, a forest, a meadow, and a pond. A Bird Protection League (LPO) shelter, this parkland respects the environment: no hunting, no pesticides, and there are nest boxes for different kinds of birds.
The park is open for free all year round. From June, signs will be put up in several places to explain the restoration of the castle and the parkland.
