Memorial to the heroes of the Great War.

Created in 1915: Battles of Champagne.

Developed in 1922, 1923 and 1926-29, with the burial of bodies exhumed from military cemeteries on the Champagne Front including at Beauséjour, Main de Massiges and Tourbe.

43 944 sqm – 21 319 bodies.

WWI: 21 291 French soldiers, 12 223 of them in six ossuaries, 25 Czechs and 2 Serbs.
