Why enjoy
it ... !
The Pomacle sycamore maple, very well developed and majestic at 21.6 metres tall, stands in a public space.
The name “sycamore” comes from the supposed resemblance of its leaves to those of the sycamore fig or the “Egyptian fig tree”.
Its white wood, which is quite hard, is used in woodworking and for making stringed instruments; once upon a time it was also used for making clogs.
See this tree in every season in the photographs.
