La Cartonnerie is a modern music and culture venue, playing host to musical performances across all genres, including rock, reggae, world music, traditional French lyrical music, jazz, rap, techno, electro and blues.
The venue welcomes proponents of other artistic mediums, such as street art, multimedia and plastic arts. It is also a place where musicians can create and compose their pieces, making use of the state-of-the-art facilities (five rehearsal studios and one recording studio, presentations, film screenings, exhibitions, training courses and the Elektricity festival).
