A national label to promote wine-growing regions!
Vignobles & Découvertes distinguishes quality wine tourism services.
Created on the initiative of the French Ministries of Agriculture and Tourism in 2009, its aim is to raise the profile of wine-growing regions. It makes it easier for customers to plan weekends and short breaks in the vineyards.
The label is awarded by Atout France, France’s tourism development agency. Locally, tourism institutions and interprofessions are responsible for the animation, promotion and marketing of label-approved services. In Champagne, these are :
– Agence de Développement Touristique de la Marne,
– Comité Départemental du Tourisme de l’Aube,
– Maison Départementale du Tourisme de Haute-Marne,
– Agence de Développement et de Réservation Touristique de l’Aisne,
– Comité Régional du Tourisme de Champagne-Ardenne,
– Comité Champagne (CIVC),
– Chambre Régionale d’Agriculture de Champagne-Ardenne
Services covered by the label
- Wineries, wineries and cooperatives, accommodation, restaurants, leisure activities, heritage sites, events, incoming agencies, tourist offices.
Conditions:
- Be located in one of the label areas: Montagne de Reims, Vallée de la Marne, Vallée de la Marne Ouest, Coteaux Vitryats, Coteaux Sud d’Epernay – Côte des Blancs, Massif de Saint-Thierry Vallée de l’Ardre, Coteaux du Sézannais, Côte des Bar and meet national criteria.
