Balade à Festigny

In the hollow of a huge cirque striped with vines, the village has a certain panache. Its streets go up and down, span the Flagot on many flower-covered bridges, are lined with trees and kitchen gardens, lead to traditional houses and, in the surrounding area, to beautifully built villas. Water flows freely, in the stream but also in the fountains and washhouses, which add to the general charm. This green and open countryside continues in the four hamlets, including Le Chêne La Reine from which a superb panorama can be admired.
