ADT MARNE, A PLAYER IN SUSTAINABLE TOURISM

In 2008, ADT Marne began building up a network of tourism businesses committed to sustainable development. This network, which brings together 103 tourism players, is open to any partner who :

  • is involved in an eco-labeling process: European Ecolabel, Green Key, ISO 14001, NF environnement, etc.
  • is committed to the Ecotourism charter

Network members are supported by a range of services:

  • specific promotional actions using ADT tools.
  • defining, implementing and evaluating their environmental management policy,
  • support in integrating an ecolabel,
  • the provision of a specific watch (under construction),

SUSTAINABLE TOURISM FUND

As part of the “France Relance” national recovery plan, ADEME is piloting the deployment of the Sustainable Tourism Fund. With a budget of 50 million euros, this fund is designed to support the tourism industry in rural areas by providing financial assistance.

It has 3 components:

  • tourist accommodation
  • the “1000 restaurants” operation,
  • developing a slow tourism offering

If you’re not located in a rural area, other schemes may be available to you, such as Fonds Tremplin, Crédit d’impôt pour la transition écologique, Fonds Climaxion, etc. Contact us and we’ll work with you to find the right financing solutions.

ADT de la Marne has been chosen by ADEME to lead the deployment of this fund in the Marne.

CAT Guide

For 13 years, the Viatao publishing house has been committed to promoting positive, authentic, ethical and ecological tourism. This winner of the Palmes du Tourisme Durable 2020 award has published almost 40 travel guides around the world.

For the past 13 years, ADT de la Marne has also been committed to this approach, with the deployment of an ecotourism charter and, more recently, support for the deployment of the Sustainable Tourism Fund.

Naturally, a partnership was born with this publisher, the ADT de l’Aube and ART Grand-Est to produce a guide to responsible travel in Champagne.

Our partners in the Marne region who have signed up to the ecotourism charter are therefore recognized for their commitment in this guide.
